COURT OF PROTECTION

Sometimes a member of the family, or close friend, loses the capacity to look after their affairs and they may not have made a Lasting Power of Attorney.

In these circumstances, usually the way forward is to make an application to the Court of Protection so that the Court can make an Order appointing an appropriate person to be responsible for dealing with those affairs under the Court's direction.

We are experienced in dealing with the Court of Protection and can guide you in making the appropriate application to the Court and through the technical procedure which must be followed. We can also assist in advising you on applying the Court Order once it has been made.
